Playtime New York 2018

It’s our first time at Playtime New York. We are delighted to show our collection to the US market, to be a part of this must-see event and showcase our unique style of knitting to the children's and maternity wholesale trade.

Established in 1912, G. H. Hurt & Son is a family run business, in its fourth generation. Our pieces are inspired by our rich heritage, made by combining modern design innovation and traditional artisan skills.  From our Shawl Factory, in Nottingham, England, we continue the craft of handframe knitting. Producing lacy knitted shawls with the traditional hand-finished scalloped edges, which makes our product truly unique. Our baby shawls, blankets and layette sets are as popular as ever with the Amercian public. We aim to showcase our baby collection at Playtime New York this year, (to retailers) to allow these unique and exquisite pieces to be even more accessible to US consumers.
