I purchased the Cotton Shawl because I'm assuming my baby won't be able to tolerate wool (because I can't). So, Cotton was the safest bet. It is just beautiful and exquisitely made, so soft and fine, nice and cool for the long, excruciatingly hot summers here in California. A pure white that goes perfectly in my white Nursery. It even has a divine smell. Amazing! Love, Love, Love!
